Spirits of The Dead |
 | A pressure on the top of the head. |
| Hairs on the back of the neck standing on end when a spirit is present. |
| A sensation in the left side of the face when talking with spirit. |
| A scent of flowers. |
| A smell familiar to the deceased person such as smoke or perfume. |
| Unexpected shadows moving just within the range of vision. |
The scent of flowers was there each time a loved one in my family passed away. I cannot tell you if this was a visitation from a deceased loved-on or if it the scent of the spirit of death. These are my experiences. The experiences were not sought and they were a comfort to me.
The Death of my Mother-In-Law
Late one evening about two years ago, I returned from the grocery store. As I entered the our kitchen, I noticed sharp scent of flowers. I sensed this before and in my mind in meant death was near. I panicked and tried to chase it away. I told whatever the scent was to leave. We did not want a death here.
The next morning we received a phone call from my sister-in-law that my mother-in-law passed away in her sleep. It was totally unexpected. She had just passed a physical about two weeks ago. The estimated time of death was near the time I sensed the flowers.
After my father passed away, I could sense the smell of flowers in his house for about a week.
After my brother passed away, I could sense the smell of flowers in his bedroom for about two weeks.
Spirit Sensing Story--Got the Spirit to Stop
We lived in old house and did experience doors slamming, noises at night in our basement and once I woke from a nap and saw a shadow pass over me. At that time I used my Christian training to try to get rid of the spirit. I prayed and claimed the blood of Jesus in every room every time I sensed the spiritual presence. The activity did lessen and we were able to live in peace.
Hearing mental voices in thought forms of messages. This is a form of channeling.
You may actually hear spirit voices.
When a person loses a loved one they could possibly receive messages from them. Often the messages is preceded by a floral fragrance. (I find that this form of communicate is only active for a few months after the death. The communication does not last in definitely.)
When the information comes through, there may be a pressure on top of the head, body sensations such as chills, tingles, hair standing on end.
Who's Knocking On Our Door?
Late one night, I heard my Dad walking to the front door and opening it. He did this about three times though out the night. Finally, I asked him why was he doing this. He said he kept hearing a knock at the door. The next day, he found out his best friend who was a truck driver had died in a highway accident.
Death of my Father
One night shortly after my father's death, I was awakened by a loud wind that seemed to briefly touch me on a forehead. The hanging lamp in the room was swaying back and forth. There was no wind outside although the window was open. Later, my mom told me a old-time legend that a wind meant a spirit of a loved one was telling you they were OK.
Communication With My Brother
Shortly after the funeral, we visited my brother's grave. My mother could see my brother clearly floating above the grave. She could not understand why no one else could see it.
Maybe you believe me and maybe not. I know this is the truth. These experiences were not sought and proved to be a comfort to me. I do not seek my loved one in the spirit world even though I still miss them. Now I leave them in God's care. I found no other way to find spiritual peace .
