Satan
Forms of Satan
Three Strongest Tests and Temptations of Satan.
To satisfy a strong physical need or desire. Test God Forty days and forty nights he ate nothing and became very hungry. Then Satan tempted him to get food by changing stones into loaves of bread. "It will prove you are God."
To prove that God is with you--test God. Satan knows and quotes scripture to tempt Jesus. "Then Satan took him to Jerusalem to the roof of the Temple. "jump off," he said" and prove you are the Son of God for the Scriptures declare the God will send his angels to keep you form harm, "they will prevent you from smashing on the rocks below." Jesus retorted "it also say not to put the Lord your God to a foolish test!"
To tempt our ego and give us whatever we desire but first disobey God. Then from a high mountain the devil showed Jesus "all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me" Jesus replied "You shall worship the Lord God, and Him only you shall serve." Satanism There is not one uniform belief of Satanism. They are split and divided on certain aspects of Spiritualism. You can find the spiritual Satanists who communicate with spirits or the strictly philosophical Satanist who believes and lives by the teachings in the Satanic Bible. Most agree that their leader is Anton La Vey and their book of guidance is the Satanic Bible.
"In this arid wilderness of steel and stone I raise up my voice that you may hear. To the East and to the West I beckon. To the North and to the South I show a sign proclaiming: Death to the weakling, wealth to the Strong!" -The Satanic Bible, Book of Satan 1:1 - (Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey/The Church of Satan)
Satanism is a system of beliefs similar to the qualities of Satan. They believe in self-satisfaction and self-fulfillment through individual effort. Satanist's disdain the weak and the lazy. No charity exists in Satanism. Do not waste your energy helping the weak, but use your energy in helping yourself. Do what you want now. There is no afterlife. Although Christians acknowledge the existence of Satan, Satanists either deny that Jesus Christ existed or states that He was a weakling. Satan's followers are true to Lucifer's original comments: "I will be like the Most High." Satan's followers want to be like Satan. Many of them will not worship Satan as a separate spiritual being. They live by his statement. They will be the "Most High"-God in their own lives. Satan is not their god, but they are their own god.
