"I Am" Statements of Identity

Jesus Christ made identity statements that were radical and controversial. Jesus demanded in his lifetime and still demands to this present day that a choice be made by everyone who listens to him. Is He who is says or is He a liar?

I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. John 8:12

I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger and he who believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:34

"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever, and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of world. John 6:28

"I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enter by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." John 7-9

"I am the good shepherd, The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."

"I am the resurrection and the life. "he who believe in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:26

"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

"I am the true vine and My Father is the vine dresser. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:1 and John 15:5
