Functions of Angels
Angels were created by God, and he pronounced them good, holy and just.
They were created at one time and before creation of earth. The angels were give free will and subjected to a probationary period. About one-third of the angels did not wish to serve God and followed Lucifer. The remaining angels decided to follow God. The number of angels are so large you cannot count them. Daniel 7:10 states that there are "ten thousand times ten thousand" That means there are at least 100 million angels.

Angels are Holy and do not sin.
